NEMS Community Benefit Services Limited (NEMS) has been providing ‘GP Out of Hours’ services and other urgent primary care services to patients in the Nottingham area since 1998. NEMS is a not-for-profit organisation with the purpose of providing health and social care for the benefit of the community and not for the profit of its members.
NEMS is the current urgent primary care provider for the county of Nottinghamshire (except for Bassetlaw) and provides the following services:
- Urgent primary care in Nottingham, Mansfield and Newark.
- Clinical Assessment Service (CAS)
- GP Out of Hours (OOH)
- Primary Care 24 (PC24) at Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield
- Urgent Primary Care service (UTU) at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham
- NEMS Pathways (Greater and Mid Notts)
- Community Pathfinder
- Single Point of Access call handling services
